We are delighted to announce that Professor Ian Roberts has agreed to open the Conference with a keynote speech on environmentally aware emergency medicine.

Jonathan Marrow

Born in Watford in 1944. Grammar School educated, Qualified at UCH in 1968

Initial career aim was service in Africa, hence 2 years in rural Botswana. Returned to do surgical training, then A&E Medicine.

Consultant in A&E Medicine at Arrowe Park Hospital, Wirral, from 1980 to 2004

Chaired Faculty Training Committee. First Vice President of College of EM.

Medical interests
Coding and information, wound infection and its prevention, electrical injury, medical services in war and disaster.

General interests
Photography, typography and design, social history, detective fiction and some others.
Married with 5 adult children, 5 grandchildren and a ride-on lawnmower
