Jonathan Benger

Jonathan Benger is a consultant in the adult and paediatric Emergency Departments of the University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, and Professor of Emergency Care at the University of the West of England. He has recently been elected to chair the College of Emergency Medicine Clinical Effectiveness Committee, and is also the College emergency airway lead. Jonathan coordinated the development of the UK Training in Emergency Airway Management (TEAM) Course, the manual for which was recently published by Cambridge University Press. Other interests include pre-hospital care, diagnostics and the impact of drugs and alcohol on emergency care.
