Prof Steve Goodacre
Steve Goodacre is Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Sheffield and Honorary Consultant at the Northern General Hospital. His research interests include organisation of emergency care, economic analysis, clinical trials in emergency medicine and developing evaluation methods for systems of emergency care. He is Chief Investigator for a number of national evaluations, including the ESCAPE trial of chest pain units, the RATPAC trial, the 3Mg trial and the DAVROS project. He is also a Deputy Editor for the Emergency Medicine Journal and Consulting Editor for Annals of Emergency Medicine.
