Dr Rod McKenzie

Rod Mackenzie is a Senior Lecturer in Emergency Medicine at the University of Leicester and an Honorary NHS Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Leicester Royal Infirmary. He is also the national curriculum development lead for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh's Faculty of Pre-hospital Care, a member of the College of Emergency Medicine Pre-hospital Care Sub-Committee and the Medical Director of the emergency medical charity, Magpas. Throughout his career he has combined strong clinical, operational and research interests in pre-hospital care and has been a driving force in the development of Pre-hospital Emergency Medicine as a new medical sub-specialty
